Terms of Use

Applies to: The Norwood mobile application (the “App”).

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Momentum Aksiyon Teknoloji Ltd. Şti. (“Norwood,” “we,” “us,” “our”), which operates the App under the Norwood brand, governing your use of the App. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. By using the App you represent that you meet these requirements. The App is designed for adult users seeking hair-loss tracking and self-care guidance.

2. What the App Is — and Isn't

Norwood is an AI-powered hair-loss measurement and coaching app. It analyzes photos you take to estimate a Norwood stage and hair-density metrics, builds a personalized protocol, and provides guidance through an AI coach (“Sam”) and progress tracking. The App is not a medical service or a diagnostic tool, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

3. Not Medical Advice; Medication

The Norwood stage, sub-metrics, protocol suggestions, and coach messages are for informational and self-care purposes only and are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The AI coach is not a doctor, dermatologist, or licensed professional, and it does not prescribe. Any medication (for example, finasteride or minoxidil) is prescribed, adjusted, and supervised only by a licensed provider through telehealth or in person — not by the App or the coach. The coach will not tell you to start, stop, or change a medication or dose. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting, stopping, or changing any treatment, and especially for any medical concern (for example, side effects, a scalp condition, or mood changes). If you are experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line immediately. Never disregard or delay professional medical advice because of something in the App.

4. AI-Generated Output

Scores, progress estimates, protocols, and coach responses are generated by automated systems and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not suited to your situation. They are estimates and guidance, not guarantees. We do not promise that your score will improve, that hair loss will slow or reverse, or that you will achieve any particular result.

5. Your Account

You access the App through a sign-in method (such as Sign in with Apple or Google). You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and accept responsibility for activity under your account. Notify us of any unauthorized use.

6. Subscriptions, Billing & Auto-Renewal

The App offers auto-renewable subscriptions that unlock its features.

• Billing: payments are processed by Apple (In-App Purchase) and/or Stripe. Prices are shown in the App at the point of purchase (for example, Annual, Monthly, and Weekly plans), and may include an introductory free trial where offered.
• Auto-renewal: your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Managing & canceling: you can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID (App Store) subscription settings or, where applicable, through the App's subscription screen. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.
• Free trials: if you are offered a free trial and do not cancel before it ends, it converts to a paid subscription at the stated price. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
• Refunds: purchases are handled by the applicable app store and are subject to that store's refund policies. We do not separately control store refunds.

Applicable Apple terms, including the standard Apple Media Services / EULA, also govern subscriptions purchased through the App Store.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App, including by: uploading photos of anyone other than yourself without consent; attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the App or its systems; using the App for any unlawful purpose; or attempting to bypass security, entitlement, or payment controls.

8. Your Content & License

You retain ownership of the photos and content you provide. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to operate and provide the App to you (for example, to compute your scores, generate coach guidance, and show your progress), as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your photos to train AI models, and we do not sell them.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, its content, and its underlying technology are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the App under these Terms, no rights are granted to you.

10. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY RESULT, SCORE, OR ESTIMATE IS ACCURATE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.

13. Changes to the App or Terms

We may modify or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms. We will post the revised Terms and update the Effective Date; material changes will be communicated in-app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the App. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

15. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Momentum Aksiyon Teknoloji Ltd. Şti., without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
